  <p>Daiwa Catalina 15 reel is very compact heavy duty vertical jigging multiply reel with smooth gears and tough drag. It has quite low dragging in handle turn as regular casting reels, because it doesn't have dragging from spool tension like that of lever drag reels. This is the best for deep sea slow jigging with #1-#3 PE braids. Its body is as small as Shimano Calcutta 300 body. Its body frame is made of high-tensile aluminum alloy to hold the mechanicals inside solid. Gears are hyper digi-gears to offer both long life and smoothness. Long clutch lever and long arm star drag make every manipulation easy. ATD automatic drag system offer very smooth line release, and increasing drag pressure proportional to speeds. Perfect double stopper system, the combination of anti-reverse roller and mechanical clutch holds the spool system even when strong load break the one-way roller.
