Underbird 2 Underbird 2 è uno Stick popper realizzato in balsa dal profilo unico, svilppato per Smith da Kozo Okubo, ideatore delle canne K.O.Z. ed uno dei maggiori esperti di pesca a spinning estrema. La sua forma particolare, un corpo rotondeggiante e allungato, una parte anteriore molto scavata, permettono al pescatore di scegliere se utilizzare questo artificiale come popper, quindi sul pelo della superficie dell’acqua, o come stick, quindi completamente immerso. Imprimendo una Jerkata lunga e lenta, Underbird 2 compie un’oscillazione laterale accentuata senza ruotare: un movimento molto attraente per il pasce che il più delle volte lo attacca senza indugiare, me lo ha confermato il fatto che la maggior parte dei lanci fatti a dovere hanno portato allo strike. Recuperandolo invece a canna alta e in modo più energico , grazie alla sua parte anteriore incavata e rotondeggiante, riesce a raccogliere acqua sparandola in avanti ad ogni nostra jerkata, comportandosi come un popper . All’interno del corpo in balsa è stata inserite una camera con sfere mobili che dona all’artificiale un irresistibile sistema sonoro rattling, molto adescante. Produzione limitata.</p> <p>La particolare conformazione di questo popper lo rende incredibilmente adescante, producendo in fase di recupero attivo un movimento estremamente frenetico tipico della preda agonizzante ed una accattivante turbolenza dovuta alla pressione sull’acqua della cupola anteriore particolarmente svasata con profilo molto affilato.
