<p>Smith D-Coax è un nuovo artificiale nato dall’esperienza maturata nell’uso del più famoso D-Contact ma che inserisce nuove caratteristiche utili a chi pesca anche in acque più lente. Il suo trasferimento di pesi interno fa si che le biglie di tungsteno in fase di lancio e caduta in acqua permettano una lunga gittata ed un affondamento molto rapido in posizione verticale. Una volta raggiunta la profondità desiderata, l’artificiale si posizionerà orizzontalmente con il primo cenno di recupero. La paletta più larga rispetto alle altre hardbait della famiglia “D” ne permettono un uso con recupero regolare ed esprime un nuoto sinuoso, proprio come un classico minnow. Se Smith D-Coax viene animato con piccole jerkate o twich, questo capolavoro giapponese ha la prerogativa di compiere deviazioni di traiettoria di 180 gradi, che inducono il predatore all’attacco. Le zavorre interne, una volta rientrate nel loro alloggiamento dopo la fase di lancio, producono un leggere richiamo sonoro che ne favorisce l’identificazione da parte della preda anche in acque sporche. Proprio il bilanciamento dei pesi in collaborazione con il ventre piatto, simile a quello di Smith D-Incite, aggiungono una caratteristica unica, il wabbling tremendamente accentuato in fase di caduta, un po’ come gli artificiali usati nella pesca della trota lacustre nelle acque italiane. <p>Smith F-Select Lo Smith F-Select è un jerkbait Slow Floating, valida alternativa ai normali minnow affondanti quando si pesca verso valle in acque poco profonde e in fiumi con poca portata. La capacità di nuotare lentamente a ridosso della superficie dell’acqua, e di mantenere costante il proprio raggio d’azione ed il proprio movimento, è micidiale in acque molto lente. Durante le fasi di pausa dal recupero, l’artificiale assume una posizione di riposo a testa bassa, con un lento moto di galleggiamento verso la superficie (Slow Floating). Dotato di rattles interni. Le sfere metalliche producono un suono in grado di richiamare i salmonidi più apatici. Il profilo della testa è sto studiato per entrare immediatamente in pesca dopo aver toccato l’acqua. Il lip, la paletta frontale è costruito con un policarbonato molto robusto. Risulta molto resistente agli urti con le rocce, ed ai recuperi contro il fondale ghiaioso. La forma del lip ed il profilo piatto della parte superiore della testa permettono un affondamento immediato appena inizia il recupero. La forma della testa fa inoltre assumere all’artificiale una posizione rivolta verso il basso quando in pausa dal recupero. Il profilo svasato del dorso e la forma piatta dei fianchi, con evidenti zigrinature, riduce notevolmente l’attrito permettendo di ottenere un nuoto frenetico e realistico con il minimo movimento della canna. Questo minnow gode permette di raggiungere incredibili distanze di lancio, grazie alla forma del corpo, ed allo studio interno dei pesetti in tungsteno. Il wobblin prodotto da l’F-Select è impeccabile, anche con movimenti non violenti. Un artificiale che non può mancare nell’arsenale di un trotaiolo incallito. <p>Il BTK Swimmer II è il nuovo modello lipless della Smith, evoluzione del modello sviluppato per la pesca Native in torrente. Grazie ad una ri-progettazione delle zavorre interne, riposizionate e ridimensionate, il BTK Swimmer II offre una nuova possibilità d’approccio “Bottom Knock Swimmer Area” per far letteralmente impazzire le Trote annidate sul fondo. Rispetto al modello classico pesa 1 grammo in più e quindi è più stabile sulla pesca sul fondo. Si tratta di un minnow destinato alla pesca in fiumi di piccola/media dimensione, perfetta sintesi tra minnow e cucchiaino rotante, due degli artificiali più afficaci per la pesca della trota. Il profilo affusolato del corpo e le superfici piane di ventre e schiena producono un  pronunciato effetto rolling, molto spesso incrementato sotto l’effetto della corrente. Una piccola pallina in tugsteno, posta sul retro della paletta, permette all’artificiale di lavorare più sul fondo.</p> <p><img class="wp-image-5001 size-full aligncenter" src="http://www.oldcaptain.it/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/AR-HDweb-1-e1456400603396.jpg" alt="AR-HDweb" width="1000" height="317" /></p> <p>Esaminando la paletta rotante, inoltre, notiamo che questa è molto più convessa di quella in dotazione ad un normale cucchiaio, notiamo inoltre una profonda striatura sulla parte frontale destra che funge da acceleratore di rotazione. Si tratta di una tecnologia ben particolare. Grazie infatti ad un rapido twitch della canna è possibile cambiare il senso di rotazione della paletta… un vero tocco da maestro. In fase di progettazione è stata prestata la <strong>massima attenzione allo snodo minnow/paletta</strong>, in grado di far variare facilmente l’azione del nostro artificile, incrementandone il potere attrattivo dovuto alle vibrazioni ed ai riflessi di luce.</p> <p><strong>L’azione di pesca</strong> consiste nel lanciare a ridosso delle corrente (in grossi fiumi) e della riva opposta (in caso di piccoli o medi torrenti), recuperando con uno o due twitch rapidi ogni due o tre secondi. Oppure lanciando a valle, in una risacca d’acqua. Questo movimento frenetico provoca incredibili giochi di luce del corpo, estremamente attrattivi per le trote. La solida paletta frontale assicura un movimento wobbling regolare anche in caso di recupero molto veloce. La vasta gamma di colorazioni disponibili permette di adattarli all’umore delle trote.</p> <p><strong>D CONTACT 85 :</strong> E’ la misura ideale per cacciare le grandi trote nelle pool profonde ed i grossi fiumi. E’ anche un modello molto utilizzato in mare per la pesca della spigola.
