Ami & Assist

Ami da pesca. Le misure disponibili in commercio coprono tutte le esigenze di pesca. Il numero dell'amo definisce la sua dimensione e più è alto il numero e più è piccolo l'amo. Per fare un esempio un amo del numero 1 è più grosso di un 7 e quest'ultimo è più grosso di un numero 18. Le dimensioni degli ami per le acque interne vanno normalmente dal numero 1 al numero 28 dove il primo è per grossi pesci e l'ultimo è per pescare gli avannotti. In mare, dove i pesci sono più grossi, la numerazione dell'amo cambia ed è seguita da uno zero “0”. Quindi avremo ami tipo 1/0 o 8/0 e anche 15/0, e qui più il numero aumenta più l'amo diventa grande. Ad esempio un 1/0 è più piccolo di un 8/0. Occhiello o Paletta La prima grossa distinzione che possiamo fare è tra gli ami con occhiello e quelli a paletta. La scelta dell'una o dell'altra soluzione definisce il tipo di nodo che si andrà a fare per fissare l'amo alla lenza e questo determinerà il tipo di pesca da fare. Gli ami ad occhiello sono generalmente impiegati per la pesca di pesci potenti, in quanto si possono legare con nodi resistenti sicuri. Quelli con occhiello dritto si impiegano quasi sempre in fondo alla lenza, quelli con occhiello curvato all’esterno invece si impiegano nelle lenze a due o più ami e quindi vengono fissati lungo il terminale e non a fine lenza. Gli ami ad occhiello si usano prevalentemente in mare ma anche nelle acque interne per la pesca della carpa e saltuariamente anche qualche grosso predatore. Gli ami a paletta vengono invece impiegati per prede più “contenute” perché i nodi che si possono fare su questi ami, sono sicuri con diametri di filo fino ad un massimo dello 0,70. Quelli a paletta sono gli ami che prevalentemente si usano nelle acque interne e per la loro caratteristica arrivano fino a misure minuscole come i numero 24 – 26 e 28.
