Nylon per Mulinello

Il nylon esiste in innumerevoli varianti. Vi sono differenti diametri a cui corrispondo i rispettivi carichi di rottura e differenti colori ognuno dei quali a senso in base alle necessità di pesca. Per quanto concerne il colore possiamo dire che un filo trasparente, a parità di diametro, ha un carico di rottura maggiore rispetto ad uno colorato perché la pigmentazione tende a modificare la consistenza e quindi a resistenza del polimero. Il colore è però molto utile in determinate situazioni di pesca, come i fili marroni quando si pesca in acque ambrate o ancor di più i fili fluo quando serve localizzare e seguire lo spostamento della lenza in fase di pesca. Per i diametri e i carichi di rottura c'è da dire che molte aziende esagerano nel dichiarare sia i diametri (spesso si dichiara un diametro minore rispetto al nylon caricato in bobina) sia nei carichi di rottura (spesso si dichiara un carico di rottura maggiore rispetto a quello reale del filo) proprio per definire una bontà del filo che spesso non è. I fili giapponesi Made in Japan invece riportano in etichetta valori reali sia di diametri sia di carichi di rottura in quanto la loro legislazione non consente "espedienti legati alla cattiva informazione. In Europa, a tal proposito, l'EFTTA (European Fishing Tackle Trade Association) ha stabilito delle rigorose norme per offrire maggiore trasparenza ai pescatori. I fili che riportano il logo Efta sono testati da un laboratorio esterno per assicurarsi che gli standard siano scrupolosamente rispettati. Infine due parole sulla elasticità dei nylon, vi fili molto elastici e quelli che si allungano meno, ma comunque sia non saranno mai anelastici come un trecciato. Sulla base delle nostre esperienze possiamo dire che sono da preferirsi i fili morbidi in inverno, che tengono meglio la bobinatura e invece i rigidi in estate… molto più efficienti in ferrata.
